Still Life
Still Life
This is my Still Life drawing. In this piece we focused on the 4 Types of Line Quality. The 4 types are thick, thin, light, and dark. The things I like about this piece is the shading, and the orientation and my proportions. The things I don't like is my blending and the value. The things I would change is the amount of value, use darker darks, and better line quality.

Line Quality
This is my One-Point Perspective drawing and in this drawing we focused on everything we've learned so fair and how to draw in one-point perspective. I picked this photo because it has a good value scale and it's my sister's room and drawing it makes me miss her less while she's a college. The things I like about this piece is the line quality thought all of it and the book shelf. The things I don't about this piece is the bed and the guitar case. The things I wish I could change is the blending of the floor and the blankets, the pictures on the wall, and the way I did the curtains.

This is my Line Quality drawing. In this drawing we focused on the 6 parts of light and line quality. The 6 parts of light are highlight, direct light, middle tone, indirect light, reflected light, and cast shadow. The things I like about this piece is my glasses, the camera, and the lighting in the little vase. The things I don't like is the background and foreground shading. The things I would change is the proportions on the camera and the spacing.
One-Point Perspective

Self-Portrait

This is my self-portrait and in this piece we focused on the proportions of the human face. We also focused on the shadowing and details of the face. The things I like about this piece is how I shaded the eyes and mouth and how I did my hair. The things I don't like are how I shaded the face and how one eye is bigger than the other. The things that I wish I could change are the eye proportions and the shading I did on the face, neck and upper chest.
This is my two-point perspective drawing. In this drawing we focused on drawing in two-point perspective, horizon lines, vanishing points, a complete value scale, and DaVinci's 6 parts of light. I choose this photo because it gave me a challenge of doing both interior and exterior 2PP. The things I like about this photo are that the line met up with the vanishing point well and the way me person turned out. The things I don't like are how small I made the building as a whole and the trees in the background. The things I wish I could change are the way I shaded it and how I measured things out so it would've been more accurate.
Gray Paper

Two-Point Perspective

This is my gray paper drawing. In this drawing we focused on drawing with charcoal pencil, drawing with a grid, and using a full value scale. I choose this photo because it had a good composition and the dog makes me think of my own. The things I like about the drawing are how I outlined everything, my shading, and the paw. The things I don't like about the drawing is the background and the wood. The things I wish I could change is the wood and background.
Choice
This is my choice drawing. In this drawing we focused on everything we've learned in class. I picked this photo because I wanted to do a picture of my dog. The things I like about this drawing are eyes and the hat. The things I don't like about this drawing are the scarf and the muzzle. The things I would change are the fur and the background.

3 Cups
This is my 3 Cups drawing. In this piece we focused on the 4 basics of composition. Which is how you hold the paper, spacing, the height if the bases, and proportions. The things I like about this piece is the spacing, the height of the bases, and the orientation of the paper. The things I don't like is my shadow shading, the outline of the "cups", and that I didn't add more detail. The things that I wish I could change is the horizon line, the shadow shading, and the proportions.
